Cheese Bratwurst Pasta Bake

Who doesn’t love a pasta bake? This one is so simple and easy to make and the cheese kransky make it super flavoursome!

  • 6 Hellers Cheese bratwurst sliced into small rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 white onion finely chopped
  • 790g bottle Passata sauce
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 200g sour cream
  • 100g mozzarella cheese
  • 50g parmesan cheese
  • 250g pasta curls or penne


  1. Preheat oven 180C
  2. In a large deep sided fry pan gently fry the onions in olive oil over medium heat for 5 mins until soft. Add the sliced cheese kransky for 2-3 mins. Stir in the passata, chopped tomatoes, oregano and bring to a simmer for 3 mins. Stir through the sour cream and set aside
  3. While you are making the sausage sauce cook the pasta. Once cooked, drain and fold it through the sauce along with half the mozzarella until well combined
  4. Transfer to a greased deep ovenproof dish and sprinkle the top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan. Bake for 15-20 mins unto golden on top
